Forks, Carpet Poles, and Attachments Safety.
Call today for a complimentary forklift safety inspection within our normal service areas.
Included in each inspection:
- Measure wear on the forks at the heels and tips. Stretched lift chains and having an operator drag your forks on the concrete as you travel can cause them to wear beyond a determined limit. This can allow for bent/ broken forks and dropped loads. We will measure to confirm that the forks are within the safe limit.
- Carpet poles carry a load well beyond the normal 24” load center. The pole needs to be examined for straightness as well as for stress cracks and correct hardware.
- Sideshifters, barrel clamps and other attachments need to be examined as well to confirm continued safe operation.
While there we will also confirm that the safety gear your machine was “born with” is fully operational. Tire condition, the upright mast as well as machine functions will be inspected and we’ll give you a written inspection report for your records as a convenient management tool.
